3 weeks have passed and we still don't have an answer. Interestingly enough, the actor had been to Korea for a few days in between and as a result, he's super hot here right now. It would be great if he said yes but it's becoming realistically impossible to shoot it in May. Even if we push til mid-May, it means only 6 weeks of prep and that's not going to be enough for a production as ambitious as this. I say ambitious because it's a large cast and multi-lingual.

Last week, I met with our line producer in Korea. It went well. We agreed that should his actor pass or we move on, that September 2nd is our official start date. Having a fixed date (even if it's for ourselves) gives us a lot of strength and motivation.
