Day 2. The first 2 days of 25 (we shoot 15 more days in Korea) went rather smoothly. Of course, like in any productions, we've had hiccups but we're finishing the scenes.

Moviemaking is a miracle. In pre-production, there are a lot of doubts and worries but once the camera (in this case, the cameras) is rolling, it's all magic.

Like the picture below. It was taken at 6:30 in the morning on the first day of principal photography.

More to come...

I've been following your blog for some time now. My name is Chris, living in Korea, learning Korean, hoping to direct movies one day ^^. Just finished my first short in Korea (in Korean), and getting into editing now. I just saw that you will be shooting in Korea soon! If you have any spots open for P.A.'s or need any extra help, I would be happy to!

My email is chris.martin1@gmail.com or you can call my Korean cell 010-6550-4511. Best of luck on this film, and I really hope to Expats get made soon (Busan was my first Korean home).

Haven't seen any other pictures posted by you for a while now. (Have you wrapped up shooting in California already? Back to Korea soon, if not already?)

I was an extra (hunter) in CHAW, as were a few of my friends. Miso called us in once and told us we would be going back a few more times to shoot. We called miso a few times, I wrote her an email, and its been a long time and she hasn't gotten back to us. If you guys are cutting the hunter's scene, it would be best to let your extras know.

Kevin,

Sorry for the late reply. I don't think they'll cut the hunter scenes although that decision is always up to the director and we won't know until we start editing the film.

Thanks for the lovely message from Cape Town. Interestingly enough, I just read a script that takes place in your town. Maybe I'll be directing it. :)

Chris,

If there's any PA position, I'll definitely let you know. But right now, I gotta rewrite to update it so that I can get the project back on track. :)
