Back to San Francisco.

But this time, I'll be gone for 3 months. The production starts in a month and we have 5 weeks of shooting in the States before moving back to Korea for the local shoot.

This is exciting. At the same time, nerve-wrecking. My first real producing experience. No matter what, I'm going to enjoy the ride.

So are you able to disclose any interesting tidbits about this producing gig? Is it for a film or tv, Korean language or mixed Korean/English? Can we find info/website on it? Learning valuable producing stuff to eventually help with making of Expats? Any difficulty in getting your temporary US work visa?

(Wife and I vacationed in S.F. last year and thoroughly enjoyed it---ain't it just a wonderful place? Oh, can you confirm Hagil Baek works for you?)

Have a wonderful time in San Fran, it's a great city.

Are you using Korean or U.S. crew? Just curious who your DP is.

Best,

Bill Totolo

Actually we're not shooting in the city of San Francisco but 30 minutes away from it in Marin County. It's beautiful up here but quite a daunting task considering it's a Korean language film with a mixture of Korean and U.S. crew.

I would like to reveal more but I need to wait until the distributor in Korea is going to announce the film sometime next week in Korea. Then, I can talk more about it. Even posting some pictures. :)

As for Hagil, he quit last month to go back to school. He never followed up on your project, did he? I'm hiring someone in a few months when I return to Korea. Could it wait until then?

Bill, in terms of DP, we have two DP's. For the U.S. unit, we have a veteran DP from U.S. and for the Korean segment, we're using a Korean DP.
