One cannot label the choice as absurd when viewed in context of the "brilliant" American society that elected the equally "brilliant" George Bush for NOT one but TWO terms---never mind that it was only by the slightly of margins both times.
If Americans elect McCain for President and make S.P. as V.P., they will show to the world how deserving they are---to be seen as the laughingstocks of the world as they already are.
(Michael Moore truly needs to make a film about this absurd nightmare, really!)
