Lately, I'm totally fascinated by this Palin syndrome. If this were a Hollywood fairy tale, we would totally root for her but in real life, she doesn't come across as a hero type. Maybe it's her voice? Which is very annoying.

Now that the Mets are done for the season (that's another matter which I have yet to recover from), my non-film activity will likely be focused on this bizarre election.

Who the hell is Sarah Palin?

I had an unexpected guest this week. Katheryn Winnick is an actress friend of mine I've known for 3 years. Immensely talented and unbelievably beautiful, she is also a black belt wearer in Taekwondo (3rd Dan, no less) and her visit to Korea is a special one. Of course, we had to visit Kukkiwon, Taekwodo's Association HQ and we were pleasantly surprised to find her name in the system. She made her Dan Certificate card as well.

Soon, you'll hear more about her in the upcoming years and I'm proud to be her friend. :)

Last night, the season 2 of the Gossip Girl got off to a good start (3.5 million) in the States. My interest in it? One of my best friends Matthew Settle is in the show so I'm rooting for it to do well. The show is getting a lot of interest in Korea, too, especially among the young girls. Matthew is tremendously talented and I can't wait to work with him someday.
